Smart Hub locked at "Smart TV" Screen

The Smart HUB for My Samsung smart tv UN60F7100AFXZA will not go past the initial boot up screen. I have unplugged everything and plugged it all back in, but it does the same thing and I cannot access anything past this screen. Has anyone else experienced this and now knows how to fix it??

Usually a call to Samsung for more.

They should walk you through resets and there is a remote reset they may be able to do. After that they arrange for service.

Samsung has NO clue regarding this issue and deny there is an issue. Spent two days with tech support. There best answer now is to pay for repair because TV is out of warranty. This is an issue with their software, not the TV's. Why should WE have to pay for service when there is an issue with their software. People are having the same issue with Blue Ray players as well.

Have reset the TV numerous times, have installed the updated firmware from USB ... Nothing ... Just keep getting the "installing" bar with the spinning wheel.

Have you tried manually changing the DNS server to I would try that and then try to search for updates again. Does it give you any error messages?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
