Question

Small business hosting. Choosing

Jun 27, 2012 9:06AM PDT

Hi Everyone!
I'm looking for a not very expensive hosting for my Frontpage website and currently lingering in kinda prostration what company can offer me Frontpage services and some space for my future website (around 50-70 Mb I hope will be enough).
There is a real great diversity of companies if you google "cheap hosting" but I don't know whom to trust.
Is it possible to have FP, 50-70MB disk space and support for $3-$4 in a month ?

Ouch. That support can't be good.

Try the usual search for this on google next.

The thing is

that a server costs a certain amount of money to build and maintain. The hosting companies that provide accounts for $3-4 must have double the customers on that server than a host that charges $6-7 in order to make a profit. They also can't really increase the support staff, because then that would cut into that profit. So if you have the same amount of support staff with double the customers, you'll run into more trouble i.e. more tickets, more complaints, and more strain on the server. In the end, you may save money on the base hosting plan, but you'll pay the price in terms of lack of support and downtime.

You can find services at twice price, I don't recommend cheaper Frontpage hosting as their performance and uptime are not reliable.
