Smackbook

Can you run Windows xp Home edition on one of your virtual desktops using smackbook without effecting any of your other OSX desktops?

Thanks for your opinion but does anyone know if you can use one of your virtual desktops with windows xp home edition and the other 3 with OSX using smackbook?
