Most likely after recompiling the kernal, you would find that such would need hand editing of the config.in files and then try a few passes of the xml parser.

Either that or you need to pester the motberboard supplier for drivers.

Most machines will work just fine without this item.

Can you share what's broken/not working?

OK Its like this when i open some windows it starts to beep and beep then when i close the window it stops or it just won't open the window, it doesn't happen with everything, i think it might be the synchronizer, i just don't want to redownload the service pack, it takes forever, i have over 768ram so that picks up some of the slack, when i go into device manager there,s a ? mark by the sm controller, if i disable that, my puter won't shut down nor can i restore. aren't puters wonderful thanks
