Sluggish menu navigation @ LN52A750's remote control

Dec 15, 2008 11:08AM PST

.
Recently, my girlfriend and I each bought a Samsung LN52A750 LCD TV. We love it. It's a remarkable set. I have no problems whatsoever with mine. However, my girlfriend has a problem with her remote control/menu navigation.

After using the remote control for a minute or two, the menu navigation goes from working effortlessly, quickly and smoothly, to being extremely sluggish and slow.

What is the cause of this and what would be the remedy?

Any insight would be very appreciated. I'm at wit's end.

Thanks in advance.

Remote Control

ApplyFriction,

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Just a troubleshooting thought; do you have fresh batteries in the remote control?

As far as becoming sluggish on the internal aspect, I'm not sure why the navigation would slow down.

HD Tech,

It's looking like it may be the batteries after all. I thought I'd covered that base by asking my girlfriend if she had changed the batteries, and she said she had. But it may be that the batteries she thought were 'new', and had replaced the old ones with, were actually old as well.

She will try the remote now with brand new working batteries and get back to me if there's still a problem.

Sorry for any inconvenience to you on my part.

Thanks again,

AF
