Sluggish Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse

Aug 6, 2004 10:49PM PDT

My mouse has gotten sluggish over the past week. The mouse pad is clean and I have a firm connection to a USB port on my desktop PC. I run WinXP Home Ed.

The model number is M-BJ58. Any suggestions?

How about the ball and rollers?

Take the ball out and look at the two rollers inside the mouse. They will pick up fuzz and skin oil. Clean the ball and the rollers and guides with denatured alcohol. Rubbing alcohol is ok. Use Q-tip.

Good luck,
