Slow Startup of System Tray icons

Can anyone let me know what my computer takes so long to load the system tray icons before I finally get to my desktop? I am running Windows XP Pro, Dell 8300,Pentium 4 with 1GB of Ram. My screen flickers on and off while the system tray icons are loading and also my desktop icons.

Maybe registry Problems
I don't think is spy ware of virus, they act different.
Try downloading registry mechanic and see if you got problems, then buy it or get a free one, because almost all this programs cost.

Im running a Athlon x2 4200 2 GB of Ram and everything cool, only anti-virus at start up and it takes some time.
Start bar sometimes needs some seconds before appearing, all i know I need it clean windows, start from zero.

Windows becomes slow with time and more if you have the pre-installed windows from dell.
