slow start up

can you help me my dell laptop is so SLOW at start up what can i do? it is a model latitude. used space is 5.12gb free is 6.10gb i have deleted ever program i can what can i do next please help?

Disable programs from starting up.

msconfig in the run box. Try the services and startup tabs and play around with those.

Once you have minimized your startup, try using tunexp 1.5 by d-force. They have a defrag that only does your start up items. Can really hasten your boot time.
