if it's serious and what to about it, depends on the exact error and warning. You didn't tell yet.
General slowness of a PC generally is caused by:
- not enough RAM
- too many or too heavy background processes
- slow CPU (on a netbook for example)
Slowness of a browser generally is caused by:
- slow connection with Internet
Trying another browser (Firefox, Chrome) helps to see if it's IE-specific.
So please tell much more.
I am running Windows XP with SP3. I understand that my PC is slow running is because I have "ERRORS" and "WARNINGS" flagged in my system files. When I look under "MyComputer" then "Manage" then "Event Viewer" in folders "Application" and "System" I have more 100 errors and warnings in each folder. Is this aserious problem and how do I clear it up? Is ther any software to repair this problem? Naturally if there is any recommended free software all the better
