Slow Gaming after re assembling( & cleaning) pc
by graphics problem - 5/3/09 11:36 PM
I ve been gaming on my pc for a good one year till i decided to clean the graphics card, ram, and processor. I accidentally took out the hear sink thermal paste in the process and also broke two legs of the processor fan ( so now i have to keep the cpu horizontally otherwise the processor fan will fall out)My graphics card socket is a bit loose too.

Anyway, now when i play games like f1 , the game takes forever to load up and the game really slows down . the movement on the screen is not smooth at all... Even when i watch a hd print, it slows down or the screen breaks up in between. Apart from that, when i am using the pc, the screen seems to be perfect.

The computer also is a bit slow till it gets to the log on screen.
I have changed my msconfig to the bare minimum, services to the bare minimum, done a disk check, re formatted my pc installed win vista again (32 bit),done a disk clean up, deleted temporary files, temporary internet file, cookies., done a thorough registry check,i have always had zone alarm internet security suite, no viruses., etc. still no luck.

My computer specifications: Intel core 2 duo 2.4
2 gig ram,
512 MB Nvidia ge force 8500 gt

I re assembled all the parts sometime back again and it worked for a lil while till i had to shift the pc from one place to another. And it is now back to square 1! Anyone with any information at all, please, will you be nice enough to help me out.

Thank you.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
