Such as what you've done for research and tweaks. Here's one I use a lot -> http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=xp+slow+browsing (see solutions in articles)
Another plague is spyware. Even those that claim there is none are failing my challange when they send me a HIJACKTHIS post. It's a plague that many don't eradicate.

Hi,
I'm having a problem in which computers over a network are having slow communication to the point where it is probably faster just to burn the data on to disk. I have a 24 port switch hub(D-Link) which connects these computers together and also a D-link wireless router (D-link DI-524) that routes the initial connection from the ISP to the switch hub. The slow communication is ocurring between *some* of the computers connected to the switch hub and between the computer connected to the wireless router and the computers on the switch hub. All the computers are Celeron 1ghz computers with one P4 1.6ghz as the server. All running win 2000 professional except the computers that are wirelsssly connected which are using win xp home.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Howard
