I was having a slow internet speed with my Vizio smart tv/Comcast router. Looked up all the posts, tried all suggestions, nothing worked.
Then I saw article on livewire about choosing the best channel for your network. Most routers are set by default to channel six. However since that is the default channel there is a possibility for interference with the signal to your tv even though all other wifi devices are working fine,
in short, the problem is not the tv....its the channel the router is broadcasting to,
my vizio was testing at 855kbps max and as low as 125kbps.
I logged in to my router..google it if you don't know what I mean..selected the network the tv was connected to and hit edit.
Sure enough, it was set to channel 6. I changed the setting to channel 10.
Ran a speed test on tv..shot all the way up to 9000kbps!
Problem solved...watching Hulu now.
