Did you happen to install it's TeaTimer? We've seen that title cause a machine to tank in performance.
Why not uninstall Spybot, Teatimer and tell more about this PC.

I have a Dell mini, only a couple of years old, and recently it started running really slowly. It takes forever to open the internet or a word document or anything. I have run my avast security scan as well as spybot. But neither find anything. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be great.
