The focus should be on the doofus who failed to pass on the information a year before the attack -- your question, Duckman (parroting one on various conservative sites) is diverting that important issue into an attack on the 9/11 Commission, whose findings haven't been terribly helpful to Bush...

We were aware of Atta but, at some point, either lost track of or decided to ignore him. I have to wonder if a suspicious person who goes missing should have been evidence enough that something might be ready to happen.
