slooooooow computer :(

my computer is super slow for the past few weeks....thinking problems may have started after the last windows update. Using Chrome as browser and it's always worked great but now I can barely get pages to load. I'm not very tech savvy and would appreciate any help Thanks!

Need More Information

It would probably help to know more about your computer and exactly which version of Windows you're using.
In the meantime, please try using a different browser such as Microsoft Edge or Firefox and see if they are slow.

slow computer

I have faced the same problem after updating windows. Actually, I also do not know the technical side. Just updated and the computer got slow. I think the update may consume a lot of space. I format the computer and got back to the previous version. Now fine.

clean Windows trash

Have you ever tried the way cleaning trash in your system using a cleaner or antivirus software.
When my computer getting slow even stuck, I do it that way and it works for me.
Also, keep in mind never set your system drive as the destination of downloading task and always keep it as slim as possible.

MSS Windows 7

if you are using windows 7 then install Microsoft security essential and scan your pc

Run your PC without any add progs

I'd try to run my PC without any additional programms (using MSCONFIG to turn them off) and check how it works with different browsers (like FF, Opera etc)
