Slide out ads..getting to be very annoying......

Now that Black Berry has a decent browser for the Torch it's become a very annoying trend to have those slide out browsers and auto pop ups asking for your subscription info.....
Second thing is that they are annoying as it is on my desk top.....

Anyone know of an app or plug in for FF to stop this???
Talk about ad's to the point that one cannot read the news w/o having to close out a box so you can read the text behind it......anyway......I'll be looking for the replies....have a good weekend all...

Don't know about cell-phone browsers

but on my PC I use the AdBlockPlus Add-on for Firefox.

I can't find FireFox for Blackberry so I can't check the settings.

I think the Blackberry browser can reply it's IE or Firefox but that's not what I need to know.
