Which mode/type of web cam is compatible with the following...
Samsung LE37D580K2KXXU TV connected to skype via an Android Dongle ?
I am having difficulty finding a"cheap" Cam other than the overpriced Samsung models !

I'm afraid Samsung doesn't guarantee compatibility with third-party devices.

So it seems better to ask the maker of the cam if he guarantees compatibility with your TV (so you can return it if it turns out to be incompatible) than the other way around. If you can't reach the maker ask the sales person in the shop.

No one has found anything else.

For that I check for contact information. As this can be specific to the model and country I can't answer except that no one is reporting any success other than the Samsung camera.

Some folk need an explanation why these TVs and such are unlike a PC. That is, it's not a PC and no OS that we can install drivers, etc.
