Skydrive & folders

How does one copy a folder from the desk top (say on XP) into a folder (same name) in Skydrive?

If I need to install a Desktop application, then it wont work - My ofc PC is locked down to any program installs.

I did try again-This time (when in the skydrive web site) created a folder; Then dragged and dropped the folder from the desktop in to the upload files box (on the website). What opened up was what looks like a "tree" (eg: C/desktop/ "folder") but NO button to click on that said something like 'upload now' or 'finish'

thx
