Question

SJCAM SJ4000 Wifi Vs SJCAM SJ5000 Plus (Wifi)

May 8, 2015 12:58AM PDT

Hello, I have an opportunity to buy:
SJCAM SJ4000 WIFI - £55
Or
SJCAM SJ5000 Plus (Wifi) - £95

Is it worth the extra money for the SJ5000 plus? If so/If not, why?
Thanks

Be sure you deal with a store where you can inspect the package and try it out.

The reviews were not good.

I looked at them and there were the glowing ones that smelled of paid or shill reviews and the others.

Given you can't play with it before hand my advice is do not buy.

If you want a GoPro. Get that. If you must go cheap, buy local.

Im looking at spending under £100 so GoPro is too much for me Sad
Any other alternatives?

The GoPro Hero looks to be 99.

It's clear from the reviews that you may get burned. If you can't accept that then go right ahead. I warned you off so you can't complain later.

Have a look at the Denver ACT-5030W from 3 Wise Monkeys. It is made in the Netherlands and is quite a decent camera @£69.
