SiS 760 Video Update, Athlon 64, HELP

Anyone had any problems with this update coming through auto update as high priority? I loaded it and then could not get the tray icon to go away and my
system kept trying to load it again. I got rid of
Express Install asap. Removed the update, restored my system to two days ago. Now the update wants to install again.

Maybe I'm getting this crazy thing because I'm running
WinXP on HP a810n,athlon 64 3300+ desktop. Win Update
has almost 0 info on it although they list it as a
high priority for my machine.

What do I do with this? Do I have to have it etc?

It is my opinion that drivers are not from Microsoft some 99.99% of the time. Use the maker's latest.
