My problem is after I go to my local LUSH BUGET home theater store I come home and see my cheap set up and I almost want to puke any way how would you compare the picture quality of the awsome expensive J.V.C. projector to the cheap $3500 SONY VPL-HS51 unit I want to buy? I know the Sony looked stunning

If so I am at Cedia right now, and will be seeing a ton of electronic equipment, when I get back I will let you know what I saw that wasn't too expensive, that impressed me.

Other low cost projector

Something else that shouldn't cost too much that might be worth a look, BENQ, specs are good, picture decent, price great.
Keep in mind, your room, the screen you use, and room lighting will play a big role in how good a projector can look. It won't make a difference if you spend 3k or 53k, if you use the wrong screen and don't have the room set up well, the picture will look like crap.
