Question

SIRI not always working on New 4s AT&T. Anyone else ?

Oct 21, 2011 6:24AM PDT

Hi,

I bought 2 new iPone 4s phones last week and set them up identically. One for my wife and one for myself. On my wife's 4s SIRI ALWAYS works and on my phone it mostly does not. I get a LOT of " Sorry I can not connect to the network" errors or "Something has happened"

Has anyone else had a problem like this?

Have you found a solution?

I am thinking that it is a phone hardware problem as we have 2 new phones on the same account and only one has issues.

Thanks

This looks familiar.

Since Siri depends on a data connection and that may not always be available I expect more reports on this as time rolls on. Your voice phone portion will however continue long after the data connection drops.

Answer
Exchange it for another one...

Typically I would suggest that what you are seeing is a signal or
network congestion issue, but if your phone doesn't work while your
wife's does--given that both your phones are right next to each other,
then your phone most likely has an issue.

When I was at the AT&T store I saw a few people come into the store with the same issue you were seeing--one worked were as another didn't.The sales reps just exchanged the units for them.

Hope this helps.
