hai everyone! yea me again........lol i'll get straight away to my point.
My HDD shows two partions which should only be shown as single partion. its a secondary 13GB samsung HDD which only has the target to " My documents " in it.
Any solution to this is highly appreciated.

The problem is that without a program like PARTITION MAGIC to join the partitions together safely I'd say it's best to ignore this if the other partition is small.

Thanks for ur time R.Proffitt. But i have resolved it myself. I tried running the Samsung Diagnostics.........Well it showed no errors, which was really suprising to me.......then i formated the HDD from DOS with a utility from samsung's official site.
Now its running fine, well so far !
For many, formatting is not possible as they have documents and more they haven't saved elsewhere. That information wasn't available so I mistakenly gave you the safest answer.
