Question

Single Fiber SFP paired?

Dec 29, 2014 1:22PM PST

Hello, I need help. someone ask me to buy and install some SFP the spec said that the "SFP AA1419069-E6 must be paired with AA1419070-E6". What is the idea? In what case I use two bidirectional SFP(single FO) instead a SFP with a pair of FO?

Thanks

I found the products at various companies and phone numbers at those companies. Since you may be in Russia and I'm in Canada you should search in your country or be ready to pay phone tolls.

First I want say I am as green as they come (the only fiber I know is audio optical cable). My question to you is why this someone ask you (was this a test?). When I compare the 2 SF, they are just the opposite. Are there converter for such thing? Maybe talk to the people who sell the stuff will have a solution.
