About a Cisco specific VPN and about the unresolvable entry. That entry is simply that the host name did not resolve. You can research this with NSLOOKUP (see google) but ask them for the specific VPN client to use.
There are cases where you need Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate to connect to company and VPN networks. Your university should spell that out.

Hi,
I recently installed Windows 7 and since then can't connect to my university VPN Client or Windows Exchange. I get the error message "unresolvable host entry" or just "can't connect" when I try to connect to VPN or Exchange. It just remains disconnected. I am using Cisco's VPN Client and Microsoft Outlook Exchange.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium on an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 2.50 GHz 32 bit OS. I have 4.00 GB RAM with 3.00 GB usable.
It's Microsoft 2007 Outlook by the way.
Thanks in advance for your help, JeniJJ
