Simultaneous recording and viewing on a TV (HDFlip)

Feb 22, 2011 4:42AM PST

This question applies to any of the Flips, HD or not...

Does anybody know if it is possible to record on a Flip, and view it on a TV to see what you're recording, at the same time?

Thanks

I have yet to see that feature in the flip. It is in the big RED machines at http://www.red.com/ but in the everyday machines I bet you have to move to really cheap old composite/ntsc/pal units or PROSUMER gear.

Maybe the cheapest exit would be two cameras. One for recording and another for the live shot but given only your question I can't guess if that's a solution.

Thank you, that double-camera setup is a good idea. Now if I can only scrounge up the money to buy a Flip...
