Simply Accounting work in previous year and new year at same

Apr 11, 2009 6:57AM PDT

I am working in Simply Accounting Basic 2004 and am trying to finish and close 2008, however, I must get the 1st quarter 2009 done for the GST (Canada). If I roll the year forward will I be able to go back and work in 2008? and if I do will I have to do another year-end and roll it forward again for 2009. Will this result in duplicate entries?
Please help.
Thank you.
Lodeme

Hi lodeme,

You should be able to work in the current fiscal year and previous fiscal year in Simply Accounting. As we currently support Simply Accounting 2008 and 2009 at the moment, as Kees Bakker mentioned in a previous post you can go to the Simply Accounting website for help at no cost. Here's another link to the Online Community where you'll find links to the Knowledgebase, Discussion Forum and Blogs at: www.simplyaccounting.com/community

I hope this helps!
