Simplest prgm to organize and apply books to mp3 player?

by sbogucki2002 / September 13, 2007 4:59 AM PDT

I made a mistake and I know it.

I bought a Sansa E250r (the hardware is NOT the mistake). It came with the BestBuy digital music store version of Rhapsody, and a 30 day free logon. After the 30 days, and for a while I could still manage my books and load them on the player just fine. Then, there was a blurb to update the software, (here comes the mistake:) which I did. Soon afterwards, I could no longer use the software to manage my books. It said I wasn't logged on. I logged on, but didn't have an active account - it wouldn't let me create a playlist, or transfer anything to the player. It insists I am not logged on.

I've tried to use WMP, but it insists on having all this artist, album, etc hoohah. Otherwise it dumps all the chunks of the book into the "songs" folder mixed in with all the other book chunks. (Even if I try to create a playlist to organize it under).

I have been using AUDIOGRABBER to convert from cd to mp3, then dumping to the player, combining all the cd tracks into one track per disk. (acceptable chunks)

Is there a good, simple program to do this with? Is there a right way to do it with WMP? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
