Dose this have a DVI input??? If yes you can. But check the specs first.
By the TV out???? I doubt that you can use it as the main monitor this way, and if you can the resoluton would be 320x240 or analog NTSC TV, is this what you want? John

I haven't seen it, but the Specs that I got on the internet say that it has both an svideo input and a DVI
input. It does have a built in HD receiver. I have been using my current tv to show DVDs from the computer, using the RCA outputs and inputs, and want to upgrade. This TV got good customer reviews. What cause it to have the lower resolution?
Thanx

Keep in mind that using the video or S-video limites the resultion to analog NTSC.
DVDs are digital and the format is 640x480.
To watch DVDs via s-video the imiage is DOWN CONVERTED from 640x480 to NTSC video 320x240.
To get the full quality of a DVD you need to use component into a HDTV or play it on a computer and watch it the computer monitor.
So you will HAVE to use a DVI cable from your PC to This HDTV. John

Since the tv has a DVI input I guess I could use that. Thanx again.
