Cnet acquired VersionTracker last year and is currently performing a large rewrite to resolve compatibility, performance, and demonstration issues. The next release may be worth giving strong consideration, but I'd pass on the current version.
The best I've found is Secunia's PSI (beta), but it's not actually a dedicated update-finder. Rather, it identifies installed software for which there are known security flaws and available updates. A program such as Photoshop may have updates, but if they aren't security-related they usually won't appear in the listings.
Aside from that it's even more hit-and-miss.

I would like to ask you if you know some similar programs to filehippo Update Checker ? I would like to compare them and choose the best. filehippo Update Checker is good but it recognize only programs from filehippo web page.
