Do you mean double paned Explorer?

Please explain what you mean with a little more detail. I'm having a hard time figuring out what you are looking at for the Program Files folder (?).

When I click start/favorites, I get a list of my favorite web pages. The entire list isn't visible so I use the little arrow at the bottom to get the list to scroll up. I would like to have the entire list visible.
Thanks, John.

I have no idea of how to make the entire list visable.

When my favorites grew beyond the screen and I had to scroll to see them I found it to be a PITA.

So I created folders and sub-folders within the favorites folder and moved my links into these folders.

The result is when I go to start>favorites what I see is 8-10 links for things that I use often and a folder icon called links.

If I open the folder links I see more folders which are labled by catagory (dogs/birds/fish/trees etc) each of these folders have the proper links inside.

That's not an answer to your question it's just my way of trying to sort and find all of the links I've collected.

So anyway, until someone comes in to explain how to display all the links without scrolling it's a method to keep you from going crazy.

I knew I had a text file about this somewhere and found it in my tips folder....

How can I solve the problem in Internet Explorer 5.5 so the Favorites menu list displays as multiple columns rather than a scrolling list?

Internet Explorer 5.5 has the same scrolling list when you select the Favorites from the Menu bar. Even when installed on Windows 95. Is there a registry fix for just the fix for the Start menu list in Windows 98?

Open your internet explorer and select the Tools\Internet Options menu item or right click on your Internet Explorer icon and select properties. Click on the advanced tab and un-check the "Enable Personalized Favorites" menu item.

NOTE:
This may or may not work if you don't have the Favorites folder listed on the Start button because with IE5.5 SP2 the option in Advanced mentioned in this 'tweak' isn't showing up for me....and I don't have the Favorites folder listed on the Start button.

NOTE: This option is also available for IE 6
