Suggest if you have the time, to visit any office outlet or better computer shops/centers(even Wal-Mart) and look at the "floor models".You'll get a hands-on of what you like and test it a bit. If you care to take a flash drive with sample .docs and see how it looks. Any website vendors will have the same laptops but that touch and feel makes a difference, IMO or order one once you tested locally. Any newer laptop will be a welcome sight after dealing with a 7yr. old model, so it shouldn't take long to pick one. Notice i didn't offer any model or brand, allow yourself that choice. ![]()
FYI- Cool doesn't amount to a hill of beans if you can't depend on it so get what makes your grade now and later.

So I have been using Sony Vaio's for 7 years and believe it's time for this business professional to get a little slicker.
I was advised that I could get a sharp looking (yes I want it to look cool),15 inch screen (for excel spreadsheets), lightweight, 6 hour battery life (for flights) handling Office Professional (most use is for doc, ppt, xcl) for around $700-$800. I've looked at reviews and I'm more confused than when I started.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
