Nikon 7600

If you are indoors, you will have to use the flash.

The 7600 has a shutter lag of 0.5 second, which is a bit slower than average. This can cause you to miss some fleeting moments.

There is no cure for this.....other than having the camera ready for action to occur. This requires that you frame the subject and press the shutter button half way down and hold it there. When the action occurs, press the shutter button the rest of the way down.

Need a Faster Cam....

The "older" Nikons take stunning STILL pictures but like the moderator stated, it is a bit on the slow side esp. when using Flash. The newer cameras should do a better job of catching your toddler "on the run". In general, Sony and Casio cams are the quickest in this respect. Check out the Sony T10 or the Casio Z850. I just bought the Casio Z1000 and it sports a cool, and FAST multi-burst shot mode. It can take 3 Flash Pictures in 1 second (!)....since your child is not going to stand still 'til s/he is much older, it might be time to update your camera. Keep the Nikon though for landscape pics, etc as it has a very sharp lens !

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
