Question

Show "realtime" camcorder image via PC to overhead projector

Aug 3, 2011 6:20AM PDT

We need to present training sessions by pointing a mounted camcorder at a Video monitor. The camcorder is connected to a laptop with a Dazzle dc100 capture device. The software that came with this device presents a small preview screen on the laptop. Although we successfully "output" the laptop's screen to the overhead projector, what we see on the 8' x 8' screen is that very small preview screen - in ratio to how it appears on the laptop's monitor - about 1/10th the size of the entire screen.

Is there a way to use all these different components to show the camcorder's "live" image in fullscreen through the overhead projector?

just connect the camcorder's AV-out to the projector? While you did not tell us which camcorder, I *think* all have AV-out...
