I wonder if the demise of folkmusic on this side of the pond

at the hand of the corporate recording industry and the corporate broadcast industry (just remember that Rush Limbaugh is hosted and paid that pittance in millions by an arm of ClearChannel), is just another way of quieting dissent. The US hasn't produced a Show of Hands or a Billy Bragg or an Atilla the Stockbroker (sorry, that goes back a bit). Green Day has given it a shot with American Idiot.

If corporations and the rich are in charge, it ain't a democracy any more.

I was surprised how many were Law firms. Tech was expected but way down the list. I did notice investment firms seems to be missing. Hmmm. My guess is they are not missing from the list. LOL

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
