"Pictures" of the new iPod on some newly created blog http://ipod-fullscreen.blogspot.com/

Wow Apple really doesn't like blind people. ITunes doesn't work with screen readers and now there are rumors of a touch screen which will copletely make the already semi-inaccessible IPod completely useless to the blind.

Fine. If they're going to play that way, I'll just keep my Rio Karma.

Google desktop spying on you
Google today announced a new "feature" of its Google Desktop software that greatly increases the risk to consumer privacy. If a consumer chooses to use it, the new "Search Across Computers" feature will store copies of the user's Word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and other text-based documents on Google's own servers, to enable searching from any one of the user's computers.

Spyware advertisers to be publicly humiliated Companies could find themselves put up for public humiliation by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission if they continue to advertise through insidious ad-serving software.
The FTC would publicly announce and publish the name of a company that advertises using adware that installs itself surreptitiously on consumer PCs or by using spyware, Leibowitz said. He would recommend publicly shaming advertisers to the other FTC commissioners if the adware problem doesn't decrease, he said.

However it should not be against the law to be annoying A new law targeting "annoying" e-mail messages and Web posts is being challenged in federal court.
The plaintiff, a Web site that lets people send anonymous e-mail for a fee, said the suit was necessary because the law is so broad it makes providing the service a crime.
The law prohibits anyone from posting annoying Web messages or sending annoying e-mail messages without disclosing his or her true identity.

World of Warcraft. Not a copout because if more people did it, you might see companies behave better rather than threaten a lawsuit.

Scott - Salt Lake City
You're killing me again. Mention Richard Dean Anderson. Colnel on Stargate SG-1. A SciFi show. Col. O'Neil. He's great. He's as good as he ever was on Macgyver. He's been actively working.

Jeff from Houston
Question about Bush setting hard date for rollover to hd video. I have analog. Don't have any HDTVs. How does it work? Is cable still going to work? Or is it just over the air. I'm really addicted. The other day I was driving and I realised I didn't sync. Went back home and synced and then got back in the car. And was 15 minutes late for work. Do you have a 12 step program?

Apple store in Toronto. You can go into the website and deauthorise all computers and reauthorise. I've had to do that before and it works just fine.

Okay - so both companies agree to spend millions on a legal battle and the end solution is - "Oh yea - we have a workaround for that..."

why would a person buy a movie in this new format? when the original filming, of pretty much every movie that has been made to date, was not made in HD in the fist place, how then could blueray be any better in quality versus a dvd, other than the aspect ratio?

David - Veronica has a wikipedia entry!!
Veronica, I would just like to thank you for mentioning the A2 pvp on the podcast. I've been listening to your podcast for 3 months, and this is the first time I've written in. I would like to ask you if you have seen the Buzz out loud wiki page, and/or Veronica's wiki page?

Andrew the segue watcher
TOM, Molly, Veronica, and the Earthlink Guy, For the last two days, it seems like Molly's been doing all the segues. Tom, I hope I didn't make you insecure or nervous by putting your head on a crazy segway-rider. You really are The Man when it comes to segues. Even though we all like Molly, I think it's best if you take the segue job back.
