Show Notes for 12/13

It's Grey Tuesday (mash-up protest)
EMAIL from Bill - "I saw a post on Boing Boing and then was reminded by it again today about Dean Gray (http://www.boingboing.net/2005/12/13/dean_grey_tuesday_sa.html). I hope you're able to talk about the significance of this in today's podcast. I'm really interested to see some numbers after today on how many people downloaded American Edit in one day and what the music industry can possibly do in this limited time. Today seems like another instance of mash-up/music lovers dumping the tea into the harbor and how the music industry still doesn't get it."

VOICEMAIL - James - Connecticut - A big reason behind downloading music isn't the money but the convenience. He's lazy. Tried iTunes and now uses that. Crazy DRM making the convenience balance worse.
