Should wireless tapper/piggyback-er SHARE network cost??

by Delzi / March 12, 2007 5:56 PM PDT

Wireless tapping is always an issue, some find it is in-moral, some finds it ok to do so since network is floating by.

Well, what if the network provider like starhub or singnet starts a new policy which they will record down the amount of time one has tapped on others' wireless network. Eventually, sending them records of usage and the payments bills accordingly so that they have to spilt the bills with the authorized user??

Will this be fair enough? Then people would not think of tapping again unless, NECESSARY !!.

I bet it wouldn't be a difficult task if the providers wants to execute such a policy.

Hey! If this policy is up, millions of wireless network user will be so glad, and millions other so-called piggybacker will get whack on their faces when the bills comes! Interesting! I think if they want, it will be possible.. try appealing this to the authority man!

Cheers man! For wireless network user like us who pay for our connection, it'll be so ideal if those tapper could pay for what they used. Alhough i do not mind spending some bandwidth with them, however, if there is someone who can share my connection cost, WHY NOT MAN!!

Agree with the oblivion guy, you should try proposing it to the authorities.

Cheers mate!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
