Question

Should I return this PC?

Mar 23, 2018 10:29PM PDT

I bought an Asus Zenbook, and there is a constant electronic buzzing sounds with occasional clustered beeps when it begins working harder, coming out of the top left (by the esc key) of the computer. I'm not sure if this is a sign of a loose connection, or if it's a normal sound.

Here's an example:

Thanks!

It doesn't look normal. What does the shop say if you complain?

Anyway, even if they say it's normal, you might be able to return it if you're not happy with it. And then you certainly should do that.

As long as it's an actual issue with the computer, I have around 20 days left to return for a full refund or exchange it.

I'm mostly happy with the computer so far. There's a couple of hardware sacrifices, but for the money I paid it's a fantastic machine.

I hear the usual fan and such noise but below that noise I think I hear hard disk activity. If this bothers you talk to the maker and seller about changing the HDD to SSD. That way, no HDD noises.

Thanks for the reply! It actually has an SSD. The model is the UX430UA-DH74.

Are there any other parts that could be making this sound?
