And where it's located, in the front where the vehicle was hit, or some other place where the vehicle wasn't hit. How long it's been in the junkyard and the weather it's exposed to, or was it warehoused shortly after arriving at the junkyard. From a remove yourself site, or already removed by staff? How many miles on the vehicle it was removed from.

I have a Honda Civic Hybrid 2007. My mechanic says that the car needs a new ECM and discouraged buying a used ECM instead. The price difference between a new and used ECM is significant. My mechanic said that used ECM's have problems when they are re-programmed. Do used ECM's from reputable stores work well? Does anyone have experience with used ECMs?
