Question

Should I Install GT 730?

May 4, 2017 12:58PM PDT

Hello, is my very first time posting in this forum Happy I use to read a lot, but know I have a quick question.

I have an Intel core I5 7400 on a Gigabyte B250M-Ds3h whit 8 gb of RAM at 2133mhz (DDR4) single slot. (I recently buy cause my old computer is crashing a lot and I have a lot of work to do)

So, I not sure if I should install my old GT 730 2gb (evga) cause I think the integrated graphics of the CPU can be a Little bit better.

Also, I though in maybe in use some old ram, but are in different frequency I think 1666 ddr3

I'll appreciated the help. Thanks Happy
(Sorry for my english), I'm learning Happy

Graphics

If you want to install another stick of ram to enable dual channel then the integrated graphics wins.

If you leave it at single channel you'll hobble the integrated graphics and it might be flip a coin as to which is best.
