Should I go Toshy Qosmio, HP HDX, Gateway FX, or Dell XPS?

As far as best gaming laptop/notebook. Which of these high-end brands seem to have the best overall configurations and reliability? I know that all of these could easily run around $1,500 or more, but then again, I'm hoping that one of these would come out to be best bang for the buck at the end of the day. What does everyone think?

Where laptops go bang and die.

Gaming laptops are turning in the lowest number of months till you see then sent in for repair. I can't tell if its the users pounding on the keyboards or the scorching heat from the hyper graphics chips inside but in this genre you no longer expect them to last but a few years. No maker has this one nailed.

To extend the life I strongly suggest an external keyboard and a laptop cooling pad.

The reviews for the new Gateway game machine are good.

Go look at one at best buy. A fully loaded XPS will be over 3 grand.

Definitely cheaper than Alienware.

In reply to: My solution.

One thing's for sure, one brand that I'm shying against is Alienware, there's no way I'd buy a laptop that costs as much as a car. Grin I definitely think that the brands in my first post are probably among the most affordable for high-end laptops, from my understanding...
