Question

Should I get the Note 8 or wait for Note 9?

Sep 13, 2017 12:48AM PDT

Hello everyone, I'm currently using a galaxy Note 4 for almost 2 years now, it does everything I want it to do but I just like new things, I really like the Note 8 but I don't know if I should get one or wait for 9 since I don't make the money that allows me to purchase a phone every year

If it's a money issue, why not wait for the Note 10? Or even the Note 11?

Only you can decide if you want to spend your (limited) money on a new phone, a new TV, a larger house, another car, or having a nice vacation with your girlfriend. That's your personal preference, and nobody here can tell you.

How much is the difference between what you pay for new Note 8 and what you get for a second-hand Note 4?

It's not a money issue (at least for now)

I'm only 20 and still live with my parents so I don't need to get stuff like that before I get my own house and move there which is not happening anytime soon. So upgrading my phone is the only thing I can think of spending money on at the moment. The Note 8 is perfect but Note 9 will be even better, but again... Note 10 will be better than 9.

if you wait, you will wait forever

there is always something better around the corner. I get a new phone every two years and just got the note 8 last week. been playing with it and it is a great phone. Thought the fingerprint scan on the back was going to be a problem but it turned out, it is not. anyway...

nobody here can tell you what to do, if you want the n8 get it, if you want to wait another year with your current phone, then wait.

If you can wait, you should wait. I waited and was rewarded by my next phone being far less than I first thought and it has the latest Android version out there. Neat.
