Although it *may* be repairable, the economics involved for most folks would lead one to replace. You will get another full year of warranty (more potentially, if you shop certain stores w/ certain credit cards), and an HDTV will better technology & PQ. YMMV.
I have a four-year-old LG, LG4230 ,that last week started buzzing for about three days and then the blinked for two after it was turned off it only blinked for about 10 minutes and then was fine. Two days ago I turned it on it buzzed and blinked and then shut off and never came back on! Plugged and unplugged again but nothing happens, should I even try to get it repaired or will I do better with getting a brand-new set ? Thanks for any suggestions on what to do. PS have no papers lost in a fire
