Most Blu-ray players support 5.1 DTS-MA/TrueHD and not 7.1, but if you have a receiver that can decode those formats then usually there is THX matrixing processing that will turn 5.1 into 7.1 for you. If you can manage 7.1 sound then I would go for it.

I have 5.1 in a living room I want to remain looking as close as possible to a normal living room. I couldn't care about 7.1.

How many blu-ray movies are encoded with 7.1 soundtracks.
I'd like to know as well.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
