That would likely require that Finder be able to parse HTML in some fashion, and then you start getting into all the issues Microsoft had when they started integrating Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer. Instead of a security exploit being limited to Safari, now we're looking at Safari AND Finder.
There are plenty of things that would be nice to have, but come with some "hidden" side effects that aren't so nice. This would be one of them.
