I have recently uninstalled a program and the shortcut for it is still there. When I drag it to the recycle bin, it just goes back to the position that it was in. I tried right-clicking it to delete and nothing happens. I even tried linking the shortcut to a program that is on my computer and it still does not delete. As a last hope, I mashed the living daylights out of the F5 key to refresh the desktop. Nothing works! I run a 64-bit Windows 10 on a HP Pavilion dv7 with an Intel Core i7 processor. Help would be deeply appreciated!
