We can't look at your consumer laptops. I'd run directly to Panasonic Toughbooks. Link to -> http://www.panasonic.com/business/Toughbook/df_shock.asp
I am getting ready to start over the road truck driving and I need a laptop. These rigs can bounce a lot and so I need a laptop that can stand some jarring. Also, I will want to be able to use a broadband air card for wireless emailing and it would be nice if I could download movies from Netflix. It would be nice if it has 802.11a/b/g/n. I also need a gps program that has truck routing, including showing low clearances. I would like it to have 3GB Ram if possible. And, of course, cost is a consideration. Maybe less that $1200. Any ideas on what would meet my requirements?
