Dell or Toshiba?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I never use Mac before, although it does seen very nice, appearance wise; however it is a little pricy for me.

I don't really need any special program but purely for school, as long I have all the microsoft package and I will be carry around a lots. So, I am looking for something light in weight and thin. 13" size screen.

I've heard nowaday, most laptops come with window vista and is better to have 2GB RAM?

Would you suggest Dell over Toshiba?

still go for a macbook if you had the money to splurge becuase your needs scream macbook. My house is right now filled with three dells and an hp. I would suggest the toshiba becuase i feel as thought dell laptops are just so generic and weak. They look boring and some of the configurations aren't that great

I own a E1505. Very good model.

But if ou go with Dell, please, wait. On june 26th ( according to wikipedia ), Dell will replace all the actual Inspiron line by the Vostro line.

Ask Google for informations about the future Dell 1420. It seems it will be equiped with the Intel Santa-Rosa platform and nVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS, everything in a 14.1" case.

Sincerly, according to what I've read, HP and TOshiba will have misery to compete with the new Dell laptops.
