Question

Shifted printing on HP Officejet Pro 8620

My printer is shifting all the images down and cutting off some information. I have aligned the printhead and cleaned the paper roll feeds. Any other suggestions?

Does the self test print on the printer do this?

If so the printer needs repair. At 230 bucks I hate to write this but replacement is often cheaper than repair.

WAG here

If the paper chute there maybe a paper path guide(s), these may have moved. If so, return it to where the off-printing is being done. Next, if that is OK, then check the setting for the printer at both the printer itself and any possible s/w setting too. The margins may have been updated(reset) to its default, thus review what needs to be done. That's about it and that usually covers most printers. Anything else is either a defect or broken pathway sorta thing but that should be obvious.
